Great question. Every time I see people selling cringey courses or magic systems that will change your business I think the same thing.
The short answer is that despite spending 22 years grinding hard I haven’t yet had the full exit, big pile of money and life ever after on beach moment yet. There certainly many entrepreneurs and founders that are far more successful than me, but not that many who have gone round the first year or the first £1m and then round again.
The second part is this. If you were trying to fly a plane for the first time, imagine the value of even a few hours with a seasoned pilot giving you the fundamentals. Then imagine whether you want the training from a pilot who was promoted rapidly and hasn’t flown for a while or the guy who has been flying continuously.
If I don’t save you 5x the cost you should certainly fire me.
